Impact and process evaluation of the Advanced Propulsion Centre

Client:

Department for Business, Innovation and Skills

The Advanced Propulsion Centre (APC) is a joint industry and government initiative, involving £1 billion worth of investment over ten years, with the aim of securing long-term growth in the UK automotive sector. The focus is on enabling supply chain collaborations to develop and bring to production innovative propulsion technologies that will put the UK in a strong position to meet increasing global demand for low carbon vehicles. In partnership with Ipsos MORI, Ecorys UK has undertaken a formative process evaluation of the APC, to assess the extent to which the scheme is delivering value for money for the UK economy, and a scoping study for a future impact evaluation of the scheme.
