Evaluation scoping study for the Office for Low Emission Vehicles

Client:

Department for Transport

The Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV) was set up by the government to support the UK market for ultra low emission vehicles. Its work includes supply side measures (e.g. support for research and development), demand side incentives (e.g. Plug In Car Grant) and development of supporting infrastructure (e.g. electric charge points for plug-in vehicles or gas refuelling facilities). Ecorys UK has recently worked with OLEV and the Department for Transport to scope out a set of options for evaluating the impact of OLEV’s work on key economic, social and environmental outcomes including greenhouse gas emissions, air quality, efficiency savings for households and businesses and growth in the UK’s automotive sector.
