In March 2014, Ecorys coordinated the launch of the “2014 Call for Knowledge and Innovation Communities (KICs) proposals” in Budapest, Hungary.
Working on behalf of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), we organised a range of elements including the venue, catering, promotional products such as memory sticks and folders, online registration system and feedback forms.
The information day proved an unprecedented success, with over 400 people attending and speakers such as Androulla Vassiliou, European Commissioner for Education, Multilingualism and Youth.
The event was also streamed live through a facility embedded on the EIT’s website, which allowed a further 1,300 people to benefit remotely.
The aim of the EIT is to improve the conditions for, and attitudes towards, entrepreneurship in Europe. Our effective coordination of the information day helped them to achieve this, as feedback showed that the attendees found the event useful, engaging and informative.
