Improving Futures is a major £20m UK programme that aims to improve outcomes for children in families with multiple and complex needs.
Ecorys has been commissioned to lead a consortium that also includes the University of Nottingham, Parenting UK and Ipsos MORI. The contract is to develop and implement a programme-wide evaluation framework and support up to 26 local projects across the UK with their monitoring data over a five-year period.
The methodology comprises a longitudinal survey of 360 parents; provider surveys, in-depth case study research, participatory methods, and a Cost-Benefit Analysis.
The evaluation is supported by a programme of learning activities, including workshops, policy seminars, conferences and an online learning environment. To find out more please visit: http://www.improvingfutures.org/.
The latest findings from the Improving Futures Evaluation will be launched at our ‘Making a Difference for Vulnerable Families: Evidence into Policy and Practice’ event, which will bring together learning from many current evaluations of family support.
