Ecorys has been asked to carry out an evaluation of the Mentally Healthy Schools website for primary schools in England. This resource is being funded by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry to improve staff awareness and knowledge of mental health, and help staff find high quality materials and sources of practical assistance easily.
The study will use a range of methods to help The Royal Foundation and those involved in the website learn from and build on their experiences of setting up the pilot website. Over the course of 2018, Ecorys will provide information on the differences it makes to the 50 primary schools selected to take part in the pilot, and give recommendations for maximising the initiative’s potential.
“We are delighted to have been commissioned to undertake this evaluation,” said Diarmid Campbell-Jack of the Policy and Research team. “It is a pleasure to be supporting The Royal Foundation in their efforts to provide evidence-backed initiatives promoting mental health.”
